Hard Rock Café Koh Samui

Live Music Restaurant in Chaweng

Hard Rock Café Koh Samui offers the international brand’s distinctive combination of American cuisine, rock ‘n’ roll music and entertainment memorabilia in a classy, spacious venue right in the heart of Chaweng. Located on Chaweng Beach Road, right by the famous Soi Green Mango, it is a unique addition to the city’s already renowned nightlife and dining scene.

The 1,250sqm restaurant opened in May 2016 and can seat as many as 200 guests in its plush interior, with dark wood panelling, padded leather benches and vibrantly patterned seats. A further 100 can be accommodated on the outdoor patio, which has its own bar and the concert stage where local and international rock music groups often play.

The restaurant serves quite an extensive range of good quality dishes in generous portions, with the burgers and sandwiches being particularly noteworthy. The signature Legendary Burger – topped with smoky bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings, lettuce and tomato – is quite a mouthful, as is the hickory-smoked pulled pork sandwich. Noteworthy beverages include hurricanes, margaritas and signature cocktails. Prices are mostly on a par with what you would pay for the same thing in the US, so could perhaps seem high when compared to local burger restaurants, though the generally higher quality of the ingredients in use is noticeable.

The Hard Rock franchise is perhaps best known for exhibiting memorabilia from Hollywood and legends of pop and rock and Hard Rock Café Koh Samui will certainly not disappoint, in this regard. Diners will be able enjoy their meals alongside iconic items once belonging to Elvis Presley, Taylor Swift, Metallica, The Who, Carlos Santana and Michael Jackson, among others. You can also buy the equally iconic Hard Rock branded clothing and merchandise from the onsite shop.
