Swing Bar in Lamai
No, Swing Bar is not a wife-swapping venue, as the name suggests. Rather, it’s a big beachside affair with rope-suspended swing chairs facing a well-frequented buffed-concrete-and-wood bar right on the beach itself at Lamai.
Here, you can enjoy a whole raft of cocktails or even a Sang Som or vodka ‘bucket’ while watching the nightly fire dances (19:00, 21:00 and 23:00) as well as at the Friday and Monday night parties. You can also enjoy a game of pool at one of the three roadside tables at Swing.Read More

Swing Bar has largely a European clientele and the music here is mostly house set at pretty discreet levels but loud enough for the party animal in you to be released and get into. It’s also a great place for dining with sand between your toes at a bamboo table on the beach and to enjoy seafood, burgers, sandwiches, baguettes, and the Thai menu.
If smoking a shisha pipe is your thing then here’s where to head to. In effect, this is two places in one, with two entirely different atmospheres, so adaptability in this case is the best ability.
There's no denying the fact that Swing Bar has had a lot of thought put into it and that it's a professional setup.
So head along and find a spot there in which to enjoy an evening of drinks, good food, a fire show, swinging music and genial beachside company.
