This is a cute little café on Mae Nam’s Walking Street near the beach where the pier used to be. Every Thursday night the colourful and interesting Night Bazaar takes place here but otherwise it is a peaceful, almost sleepy location.
On the walls are photo montages of happy customers who have enjoyed the natural yoghurts here, along with the banana pancakes, good breakfasts, juices, shakes, rotis, bread (try the club sandwich). Run by a lady called Koy, you’ll certainly get the personal touch if you pass by here.
What to buy
About Café sells coffee and teas as well as postcards and endearing souvenirs and you'd be hard pressed to find a more charming spot in the Mae Nam area.
Relax and watch the world drift by here while you enjoy a snack or simply get stuck into a good book over coffee.
Speaking of which, About Cafe sells no less than 11 different types of coffee including Brazilian, mocca, iced-coffee, Thai coffee (try it, it's surprisingly good), cappuchino, Columbian, 'French', espresso, American and of course Nescafe, so coffee lovers will find it hard to pass by without enjoying a cup or two.
Have a browse through the large postcard selection and you'll be surprised.
