Black Rose Bar

Black Rose Bar (a.k.a. The Chill-Out Place) is a hidden gem located towards the western end of Maenam Beach. Set on the beachfront, it is a classic Thai-Reggae thatch-roofed beach bar made of recycled materials and driftwood run by a friendly family-like Rastafarian team at which punters can enjoy a relaxing time. Cool sundowner spot, it also features a pool table and beach activities during the day. Visitors can enjoy here the usual suspects in matter of cocktails and drinks as well as a menu featuring Thai and international favourites; cool place indeed for a hassle-free evening in good company.

Napasai Pool Bar

A casual all-day menuof snacks and light meals is offered at the Pool Bar. Facing the free form infinity pool this the perfect place for a cocktail before enjoying a unique Thai dining experience. The Pool Bar offers wonderful ocean views and nightly live entertainment.

Paradise Beach Resort Beach Bar

Rim Talay Beach Bar

Taksin Lounge

The Fire Station

The Fire Station is a modern sports and music bar set in a two-storey contemporary building located in Maenam Centre (a.k.a. Maenam Walking Street). The bar is as popular with Samui residents as it is with vacationers; in an otherwise rather bland Maenam nightlife scene, The Fire Station offers its punters a place where to share anecdotes about Samui daily life, watch major sport events on large flat-screen televisions, play a pool game, or just share a drink with friends in a convivial atmosphere.

The bar also offers complimentary hi-speed Wi-Fi internet connection. The Fire Station’s drink-list features all the usual suspects in matter of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines; shooters are especially affordable (from 40 to 70 baht).

The Lazy Coconut

The Lazy Coconut is one of the most popular pubs to hang out in Maenam. Set in a large building along Samui Ring Road, the pub boasts a neat and clean contemporary style and features pool tables, dart board, large flat-screen televisions broadcasting major international sport events, bi-weekly pub quiz, and occasional live music performances. Run by a group of friendly expats, The Lazy Coconut attracts Samui residents and visitors alike in a very unpretentious way. The drink-list features a great choice of draught and bottled international beers and ciders as well as cocktails and spirits. The food menu presents traditional pub grubs and international favourites. The venue is also very famous for its Sunday roast.
