The restaurant is open from 06.30 till midnight, with three separate comprehensive a la carte menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lunch is available until 16.00 and last orders for dinner is 23.00. There is discreet entertainment every evening. And the highlight of the week is our spectacular Thai Night on Saturdays, when musicians, dancers and local artisans demonstrate their traditional skills.

Poppies Samui Restaurant

Located between our beautiful free-form swimming pool and the beach, Poppies Samui is now firmly established as the restaurant of choice in Koh Samui. You can dine under the stars overlooking the sea or in an Ayuthaya-style teakwood pavilion overlooking the pool. Poppies' menu combines the very best of international and Thai cuisine with the emphasis on fresh seafood complemented by an extensive selection of wines from around the world. Start or finish your evening with cocktails at Poppies Bar located right on the beach. Gregg Montanez hails from California and has been with Poppies since 2005. He has spent many years in senior positions with leading hotels and restaurants around the world.

Thai Chef - Khun Wantanee Panplum

Poppies is justly famous for its innovative and exotic Thai cuisine. The Thai kitchen is supervised by Khun Wantanee who has been with us from the day we opened. For a great introduction to a variety of Thai dishes, try one of Khun Wantanee's famous 'Kantokes', which are set dinners for two people offering a selection of well balanced and delicious dishes, served on an elegant rattan tray. There is a choice of three Kantokes - traditional, seafood and vegetarian.
